2024 Player of the Game Invitational Recap
The 2024 Player of the Game Invitational was a huge success, bringing together 224 talented athletes across multiple states and age divisions including 10U, 12U, 13U, 14U, and Underclass. Teams were formed in each division based on player positions, ensuring that every athlete had the opportunity to shine where they play best.
Each participant received two jerseys and two hats, proudly sporting NCS Player of the Game swag while competing in a 3-game guarantee tournament. Throughout the weekend of this high-energy event, players were evaluated for their fielding, arm strength, speed, hitting for average, hitting for power, and overall athleticism—providing a great platform for talent recognition and development.
The atmosphere was electric, with coaches, players, and families all sharing in the excitement. The event wasn't just competitive—it was truly fun. From the dugout to the diamond, smiles were everywhere. The passion of these young athletes was matched only by the dedication of their coaches and families.
At the conclusion of this event, top-performing players were selected to represent Arizona and NCS in the prestigious New Year’s Baseball Fest to end the year. This exclusive tournament brings together elite talent throughout the Midwest as well as the Southwest to compete. Every player selected to represent NCS and Arizona played for free thanks to the generous sponsorship of NCS. These selected players received two additional jerseys and a hat, gearing up for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The New Year’s Baseball Fest was coached by an impressive roster of former professional and college baseball players, including MLB, MiLB, and collegiate coaches, giving players invaluable guidance and mentorship. Several Arizona/NCS teams advanced to the semi-finals, and the 12U team proudly brought home the Championship title!
