NCS Cafarelli kicked off the new year in style with our 2nd Annual New Years Classic, bringing together 11 teams across the 11U and 15U divisions for a great weekend of baseball in the West Valley.

The New Years Classic delivered exactly what its name promised — a true kickoff to the new year done the right way. Youngker High School provided the perfect setting, with crisp winter mornings turning into sunny afternoons, outstanding field conditions, and competitive games throughout the weekend. Great facilities, strong competition, and great energy made this event one to remember.

🏆 DIVISION CHAMPIONS & FINALISTS 🏆

⚾ 11U DIVISION:
🥇 Champion: AZ Adrenaline 11U
AZ Adrenaline went undefeated throughout the weekend, including a second win over Hit Factory Arizona in the championship game. Their strong defense allowed just three runs all weekend.

🥈 Finalist: Hit Factory Arizona
Hit Factory earned their spot in the finals with an 8–6 win over the Yaquis, setting up a championship rematch against AZ Adrenaline.

​⚾ 15U GOLD DIVISION:
​🥇 Gold Champion: AZ Boyz
AZ Boyz entered the championship at 3–0, outscoring opponents 28–5, and capped off the weekend with a hard-fought 4–3 win over AZ Core 16U.

🥈 Gold Finalist: AZ Core 16U
AZ Core also was 3–0 heading into the title game, including a strong 5–1 victory over Wolfpack to reach the finals.

⚾ 15U SILVER DIVISION:
🥇 Silver Champion: Los Plebes AZ
Los Plebes finished 1–1 in pool play, with their only loss coming against Gold Champion AZ Boyz. As the #5 seed, they automatically advanced to Sunday and captured the Silver Championship.

🥈 Silver Finalist: AZ Nation
AZ Nation dropped two close games on Saturday by just one run each, then bounced back Sunday with a 10–2 win over AZ Core 15U to reach the Silver finals.
