This was the Trash Pandas first NCS tournament this year. 13u Gold 💍 State Champions - Rebels Carolina Blue State Finalist - Pono Baseball Rebels Carolina Blue outscored their opponents 28-1 heading into the championship game. In the championship game Pono Baseball gave them a run for their money as Rebels Carolina Blue barely pulled of a 5-4 win. This was their fifth tournament with NCS and their third championship. It was great to see a team from Hawaii represent in one of our NCS Cafarelli tournaments, and they did not disappoint. Pono Baseball had outscored their opponents 56-1 on their way to the championship game, but it was a hard fought loss for them in the end. This was their first NCS event this season. 13u Silver 🏅 State Champions - Serpientes Baseball Club State Finalist - Hit Dogs Baseball Club 13U Serpientes Baseball Club had to face Hit Dogs Baseball Club 13U for the second time in the championship game. They had defeated the Hit Dogs on Saturday 12-6, and then beat the Exposure Expos AZ in the semi-final game 7-2. The second matchup was a much closer contest as Serpientes barely scraped out the win 10-9. This was the Serpientes first NCS Cafarelli event and fourth NCS event overall. This was the first NCS event for the Hit Dogs Baseball Club 13U. They were 1-1 heading into championship Sunday and had to defeat the YoungBucks for the second time, which they did 9-6, placing them into the championship game where they just fell short. 14u Gold 💍 State Champions - Brawlers State Finalist - Bad Bunny After going 2-0 on Saturday and outscoring their opponents 26-0, the Brawlers had to fight off a tough 520 Baseball team to make it to the championship. They ended up winning that game 9-8 and took home the championship by defeating Bad Bunny 7-0. This was the Brawlers fourth NCS tournament and their first championship! Bad Bunny had not given up a run heading into the championship game, outscoring their opponents 26-0 in 3 games. They fought hard but ended up getting shut out themselves in the championship. This was their second NCS tournament this season. 14u Silver 🏅 State Champions - PFA - Lofton State Finalist - Scottsdale Bombers 14U Red This was the sixth NCS tournament for PFA - Lofton this year. They have a habit of dropping into the silver bracket and then taking home the silver championship, and that is exactly what they did. They defeated the Scottsdale Bombers 14U Red team 9-1. This was their third silver championship. This was the second NCS tournament for the Scottsdale Bombers 14U Red team, and also the second time they played for the silver championship. Unfortunately they have come up short both times now, but they continue to improve and I am sure we will see them win a championship soon. Underclass Gold 💍 State Champions - Angels Blue State Finalist - Tremendos The Angels Blue team ran the table (4-0) on their way to the state championship. They had to defeat the Vipers Elite 16u team a second time in the semi-finals before defeating the Tremendos 10-7 in the championship. This was their first NCS event this year and they took home the State Championship! The Tremendos had played in two previous NCS tournaments and took home the championship in both events. This time they were 3-0 heading into the championship game, but came up just short. The Tremendos are 10-2 overall in NCS events this year. Let’s keep raising the bar. What a start to summer baseball in Arizona. A Sunday lightning delay and some light rain tried to cool things off, but the players kept the intensity high with some incredible, nail-biting matchups. We rolled with 8 fierce 14U teams and 5 tough Underclass squads after several teams had to drop out last minute. Those who showed up came to compete! From walk-offs to final-inning battles, the energy was electric all weekend long. 🏆 We proudly handed out champion and finalist rings in two brackets, plus medals in the 14U Silver Bracket, celebrating the grit and heart these young athletes brought to the field. 👏 Huge shoutout to all the players, coaches, families, and fans who made this weekend one to remember. Thanks for showing up and showing out—we hope you had as much fun as we did! 📸 See the full recap at NCSCafarelli.com and catch the tournament photo album on Facebook: 2025 High School Kickoff Classic - 5/31-6/1/25 - NCS Cafarelli. Event Results: 14𝐔 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 🏆 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 - S.A.B.A. 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 - Diablos Southern Arizona Baseball Academy (S.A.B.A.) continues to dominate our events, having gone undefeated in their last 12 NCS games and taking home the Gold Championship in their last 3 NCS Tournaments. Their first NCS tournament they went 0-3 but since then have gone undefeated. The Diablos gave S.A.B.A. a run for their money in the Championship game after losing to them earlier on Saturday 12-5. The Diablos took an early lead but could not hold on as S.A.B.A. chipped away and eventually took the win 9-6. This was the 13th NCS tournament for the Diablos this season, and they had won their last two NCS Cafarelli tournaments by going 8-0. Both of these organizations are very solid and It wouldn't surprise me to see them match up in a championship game in one of our future events. 14𝐔 Silver 🥇 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 - AZ Boyz Baseball 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 - Scottsdale Bombers After losing their first game of the tournament, the AZ Boyz baseball team won their next three to take home the Silver Championship. They outscored their opponents in those last 3 games 32-1. This was their sixth NCS Cafarelli event this season and they have a 19-5 overall record. They have made it to the championship game in 5 of those six tournaments. This was the first NCS Cafarelli tournament for the Scottsdale Bombers 14U Red, and they had quite an up and down tournament. After going 0-2 on Saturday they started bracket Sunday with a big win over PFA-Lofton 10-4. Then they struggled to get any runs across in the Silver Championship game and ended up losing 12-0. We hope to see the Bombers again this season. Underclass 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 🏆 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 - Tremendos 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 - Ballers The Tremendos had lost to the Ballers on Saturday in a close battle 7-6, so they were looking for redemption on Sunday. Both teams battled to score runs in the championship game, but eventually the Tremendos tallied 4 runs to the Ballers 0. This was only the second time the Tremendos have played NCS Cafarelli and they have taken home the Championship Rings both times, with an overall record of 7-1. The Ballers are a new team that was playing in their first tournament, so you have to give mad respect to how they competed. They were undefeated at 3-0 heading into the championship game, having defeated Tremendos on Saturday 7-6. They were only down 1-0 late into the game, but just couldn't get the hits when needed. There was some great baseball being played in this division, and I look forward to seeing all of these teams again. #YouthBaseball #Champions #TournamentResults #PlayBall #baseballlife #SpringBaseball #FutureStars #BaseballTournaments #ClubBaseball #SpringBall #baseball #tournament #baseballseason #YouthSports #baseballislife #baseballmom #travelbaseball #baseballcoach #baseballgame #BaseballFamily #TournamentHighlights #KickoffClassic #HighSchoolBaseball #GeneAutryPark #YouthBaseball #BaseballTournament #MesaAZ #Tremendos #Ballers #ScottsdaleBombers #AZBoyzBaseball #Diablos #SABA |
