Our Fall Classic at Valley Vista High School brought great energy, competition, and sportsmanship across two divisions — and we couldn't have asked for a better group of teams to close out September. A total of 9 teams competed across the 14U and Underclass divisions, delivering tight games, standout performances, and plenty of fall baseball vibes.  The Fall Classic delivered big-time competition and unforgettable moments at Snedigar Sports Complex this past weekend. With 17 teams battling it out across three age divisions (9u, 10u, and Underclass), the level of play was through the roof. 💯 From the intensity of 9u battles to the grit of 10u squads, and the high-level play in the Underclass division, every game told a story. Teams left it all on the field and we made sure to recognize standout performances with 28 Player of the Game awards throughout the weekend 🏅 The energy from the players, the passion from the coaches, and the support from families and fans made this event truly special. 9u Gold: The 9u division saw two teams battle it out in a 4-game series, with each team winning twice. AZA - Arizona Athletics 9u won the first two games (14-12) and 14-13. Then on Sunday AZ Force Baseball won both games that were played 23-13 and 19-17. We will have to see if these two teams meet up again at another NCS tournament to see if they can break the tie! 10u Gold 💍 Champions - Birdgang Baseball Finalist - Baja Baseball Prospects 10u Birdgang Baseball and Baja Baseball Prospects were both 3-0 heading into the championship game, with Birdgang ending up winning the championship 10-2. 10u Silver 💍 Champions - Defenders Finalist - AMA Defenders were 2-1 heading into the championship game while AMA was 1-2, after going 0-2 on Saturday. Defenders ended up winning 13-9, will all Sunday games being very competitive. Underclass 15/16u Gold 💍 Champions - MMW Arizona Victus 2029 Finalist - AZ Boyz Both of these teams were 3-0 heading into the championship game, with MMW Arizona Victus 2029 edging out AZ Boyz 7-4 in a great matchup. Underclass 15/16u Silver 💍 Champions - Vipers Elite 16U Finalist - Sahuarita Roughriders Both of these teams were 0-2 on Saturday, and Vipers Elite 16U had to defeat Venom Baseball (4-2) to make it to the championship game on Sunday. Then ended up going 2-0 on Sunday and winning the silver championship over the Sahuarita Roughriders 12-3. We had a little lightning, but that didn't dampen the spirits of any of the coaches, teams, or parents.
