Marathon came into the championship game undefeated at 2-0 and full of confidence after a dominant 12-2 win over AZ Wildfire earlier in the day. But championships bring out the best—and AZ Wildfire answered. In a dramatic, tightly contested final, Wildfire flipped the script and escaped with a 3-2 victory, avenging their earlier loss and capturing the title in thrilling fashion. Shoutout to CBA Futures as well, who showed just how competitive this division was—dropping both of their games by only one run each. Every matchup in 14U was a battle. The New Years Classic delivered exactly what its name promised — a true kickoff to the new year done the right way. Youngker High School provided the perfect setting, with crisp winter mornings turning into sunny afternoons, outstanding field conditions, and competitive games throughout the weekend. Great facilities, strong competition, and great energy made this event one to remember. 🏆 DIVISION CHAMPIONS & FINALISTS 🏆 ⚾ 11U DIVISION: 🥇 Champion: AZ Adrenaline 11U AZ Adrenaline went undefeated throughout the weekend, including a second win over Hit Factory Arizona in the championship game. 🎁⚾️ Toys for Tots High School Tournament Recap ⚾️🎁 📅 12/20–12/21/25 📍 Arizona Athletic Grounds What an incredible weekend of baseball and giving back! We had 26 teams compete across five divisions — 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, and Upperclass (17/18U) — all coming together for a great cause. The Toys for Tots Tournament delivered exactly what its name promised — a true kickoff to winter baseball, done the right way. Arizona Athletic Grounds provided the perfect backdrop for a fantastic weekend of baseball in the East Valley. From crisp winter mornings to sunny afternoons, the weather cooperated beautifully, and the fields at AAG were in outstanding condition all weekend. Great facilities, strong competition, and high energy made this event one to remember. Thanks to the generosity of our players, families, and coaches, hundreds of unwrapped toys, including several bicycles, were donated to help kids in need this holiday season. 🎄❤️👏 Special recognition goes to the Vail Lightning 15U, who led all teams with 32 toy donations. As a thank-you for their donations, they’ve earned 50% off a future NCS Cafarelli event (excluding Spring Training). We truly appreciate everyone who donated and helped make a positive impact in the community. This is what youth and high school baseball is all about — competition, character, and giving back. 🏆 DIVISION CHAMPIONS & FINALISTS 🏆 ⚾ 13U DIVISION: 🥇 Champion: Copa Chaos Copa Chaos went a perfect 4-0 on the weekend, defeating Xtreme Heat for the second time to claim the championship. 🥈 Finalist: Xtreme Heat Xtreme Heat went 2-0 on Saturday before dropping a tight 10–7 pool game to Copa Chaos, earning the #2 seed and a rematch in the finals. ⚾ 14U DIVISION: 🥇 Champion: AZ Outlaws The Outlaws dominated the division, finishing 4-0 and outscoring opponents 44–12, including two wins over Birdgang Baseball. 🥈 Finalist: Birdgang Baseball After splitting Saturday games, Birdgang earned a dramatic 9–8 comeback win over AZ Nitro to reach the championship. ⚾ 15U GOLD DIVISION: 🥇 Champion: Rebels Red Rebels Red battled through a tough weekend, highlighted by a 9-run final inning comeback to reach the finals before defeating Phoenix Phillies 5–2 for the title. A well-deserved championship for sure. 🥈 Finalist: Phoenix Phillies The Phillies entered bracket play as the #4 seed and shut out #1 seed Vail Lightning 4–0 to earn their championship appearance. ⚾ 15U SILVER DIVISION: 🥇 Champion: AZ Wildfire After starting 0–2, AZ Wildfire fought back as the #6 seed, defeated AZ Core, and earned revenge against AZ Boyz with a 4–2 win in the finals. 🥈 Finalist: AZ Boyz AZ Boyz split Saturday games losing only to top-seeded Vail Lightning 3-1. They automatically advanced to the Silver Finals as the #5 seed. ⚾ 16U DIVISION: 🥇 Champion: Brawlers Elite Brawlers Elite went 2–0 in pool play, then won two close bracket games, 6–4 over AZ Wildfire and 5–3 over PFA Lofton WV to take home the championship. 🥈 Finalist: PFA Lofton WV PFA Lofton WV also went 2–0 in pool play and defeated Mountain Maniacs twice to reach the finals. ⚾ UPPERCLASS (17/18U) DIVISION: 🥇 Champion: AZ Aztecs The Aztecs went 4–0, defeating AZ Wildfire in both pool play and the championship game to sweep the division. 🥈 Finalist: AZ Wildfire Wildfire battled their way to the finals with a narrow 6–5 win over High Elevation before facing the Aztecs again. 🙏 THANK YOU to all players, coaches, and families for competing, supporting one another, and giving back to the community through toy donations.
