​⚾🌸 Mother's Day Tournament Magic in Chandler! 🌸⚾

What a weekend at the Mother’s Day Youth Baseball Tournament hosted at Snedigar Sports Complex in Chandler, AZ!

🎉 37 teams, 7 champions, 7 finalists, and 42 Player of the Game honorees made this a weekend to remember.

We also celebrated the real MVPs - with all moms receiving free entry as a small thank-you for everything they do on and off the field. 💐❤️

From clutch hits to walk-off wins, these young athletes left it all on the diamond. 💥

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 - ZT Prospects
𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 - DK United

ZT Prospects came to play in their first NCS tournament, as they defeated DK United after losing to them 9-7 in the first game of the tournament on Saturday. This was also the first NCS tournament for DK United and they came into the championship game undefeated.

𝟏𝟎𝐔 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 🏆
𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 - AZ643 Baseball
𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 - AZ STICKS

AZ643 Baseball took home the championship in a hard-fought 18-17 win over AZ Sticks. This was the second NCS Cafarelli tournament for AZ643, who also defeated AZ Sticks in the Spring Fling II tournament by one run 12-11. AZ643 were finalists in that previous tournament. AZ Sticks have played in 3 NCS Cafarelli tournament, this time taking home some hardware as finalists.

𝟏𝟐𝐔 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 🏆
𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 - Supreme
𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 - AZ Gunners

Supreme have now won 11 straight NCS Cafarelli games and three championships in three tournaments. They are a very solid team offensively and defensively. AZ Gunners had a good run in their second NCS Cafarelli tournament and 7th overall NCS tournament. They lost 2 games to Supreme but won all their other games over the weekend to make it to the finals.
  
𝟏𝟐𝐔 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 💍
𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 - Angels Gold
𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 - Tucans 12U

Playing in their 3rd NCS Cafarelli tournament the Angels Gold team won the silver championship after going 0-2 on Saturday. They previously won the silver championship at the NCS Cafarelli President's Day Classic. The Tucans made it to the silver championship in their 6th NCS Cafarelli tournament by defeating the AZ Sticks. The Tucans received their first rings by competing hard all weekend long.

𝟏𝟑𝐔 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 🏆
𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 - RIOT 2030
𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 - ZT Prospects

RIOT 2030 went 4-0 in their first NCS Cafarelli tournament this season, beating Rebels Carolina Blue 4-3 in the semi-finals. ZT Prospects ended up having to play 5 games in order to make it to the championship game. Their only losses for the weekend were against RIOT 2030. This was their second NCS Cafarelli tournament.

𝟏𝟒𝐔 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 🏆
𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 - Diablos
𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 - Dirtbags Grijalva 2029

The Diablos are becoming a juggernaut in NCS Cafarelli tournaments as they have gone 9-1 in their last 3 tournaments, winning the championship in back-to-back events. They have played in 12 NCS tournaments with a lot of victories and championships along the way. Dirtbags Grijalva 2029 received finalist rings in their second NCS Cafarelli tournament. They just missed out making it to the championship game in their last tournament (NCS Spring Fling II) by losing to S.A.B.A. Green 10-9. They are very competitive.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 - Gilbert Falcons 14u
𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 - PFA Lofton

Gilbert Falcons dominated Sunday after going 0-2 on Saturday in their first NCS Cafarelli tournament. They outscored their opponents on Sunday 25-1 on their way to earning championship rings. This was the 5th NCS Cafarelli tournament for PFA Lofton, who took home finalist hardware after taking home 2 previous silver championships at the President's Day Classic and NCS Spring Fling tournaments.
