CINCO DE MAYO RESULTS (ID) - NCS CAFARELLI 5/3-5/4/25

​⚾💥 Big Plays and Bold Moments at the Boise Cinco de Mayo Classic! The energy was nonstop in Boise as teams showed up for a weekend of high-level baseball!

There were 52 teams competing in 6 different age divisions across 4 locations in Boise, Meridian, and Nampa, ID. Nonstop baseball action and intense matchups kept the excitement going from the first pitch to the final out as teams battled it out all weekend long. Every game brought competitive spirit, clutch plays, and standout performances that made this tournament one to remember.​
 
💍 13 Champions crowned, 13 Finalists recognized, and 94 Players earned Player of the Game honors — proof of the talent on the field.

𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 - 𝐈𝐝𝐚𝐡𝐨 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝟗𝐔
 
GTS 9u went undefeated in their first NCS Cafarelli event of the year. It was a very close final with GTS outscoring Idaho Rampage in the end 17-16. Idaho Rampage went 2-0 when not playing GTS. We will see both teams in future events.

​Ignite went 2-1 on their way to the silver championship, defeating Sawtooth Catch for the second time this weekend. Sawtooth Catch will be playing again in our Firecracker Classic.

𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 - 𝐒𝐚𝐰𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡

Ignite and Sawtooth Catch met up again in the 10u gold division, with Ignite taking home the championship rings after going 4-0. Sawtooth Catch was 3-1 and the #2 seed suffering their only loss in the championship game.

FCA Force went 4-0 over the weekend to win the 11U gold championship over Gametime. Gametime was playing in their first NCS Cafarelli event this year, but we will be seeing them again.

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 - 𝐈𝐝𝐚𝐡𝐨 𝐇𝐲𝐩𝐞
𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 - 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝟏𝟎𝐔 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭
 
Idaho Hype went 0-2 on Saturday but won some very close games on Sunday, 4-3 and 3-2, to take home the silver championship. Meridian was 1-1 heading into the silver championship game and barely lost 3-2 in a pitching duel.

𝟏𝟐𝐔 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 🏆
𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 - 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝟏𝟐𝐮
𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 - 𝐒𝐚𝐰𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡
 
The 12U division had 15 teams competing for championships. Champion Baseball lived up to their name, going 4-0 over the weekend. Sawtooth Catch was the #1 seed after Saturday and ended up gold finalists with a 3-1 record.

Hawgs baseball won the silver championship after going 3-1 over the weekend and only losing to the Sawtooth Catch. Idaho Show made it to the silver championship by defeating MYBS is a close 7-6 battle.

𝟏𝟐𝐔 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐞

FCA ADA Black had a couple of close games on Saturday, tying one game 13-13 and losing to Ignite 6-5. They went 2-0 on Sunday for the bronze championship. CBC went 0-2 on Saturday, but defeated Boise Baseball Academy to make it to the championship.

Idaho Rampage took home the 13U open gold championship by going 4-0 over the weekend. Club 44 was undefeated heading into the championship game. Both teams will be competing in future NCS Cafarelli events.

Ignite went 0-2 on Saturday but 2-0 on Sunday to take home the 13U open silver championship. Gametime was also 0-2 on Saturday, but defeated Meridian Select to make it into the championship.

Idaho Show (4-0) swept the competition and defeated Idaho Rampage Black twice to take home the 13U D3 gold championship. The only loss for Idaho Rampage Black on Saturday was to Idaho Show 5-4, but they faced them again for the championship and could not avenge their earlier loss.

LC Closers out of Washington also went 4-0 on their way to taking home the 14U gold championship. We hope to see them participate in a future NCS Cafarelli event. FCA Force was 3-0 heading into the championship game but couldn’t get many runs across the plate in the finals, losing 8-1.

The 208 Bandits had a rough start to this event going 0-2 on Saturday. They came on strong on Sunday, going 2-0, and taking home the 14U silver championship in a high scoring 16-12 battle. CBC Tribe was 1-1 on Saturday, taking them straight to the championship game on Sunday. They competed well and came up just short.
