​What a weekend for the Spring Fling Tournament. With 31 teams competing across 10U, 11/12U, 13U, and 14U, both Youngker HS in Buckeye and Independence HS in Glendale were packed with high-level baseball all weekend long. The weather was ideal—clear skies and warm temperatures—creating perfect playing conditions and an outstanding atmosphere for players, coaches, and fans.

From Saturday morning through Sunday’s championship games, the competition was intense. Close matchups, big offensive innings, and resilient performances defined the weekend, as teams battled through pool play and bracket rounds. The energy in the dugouts and support from the stands made for a competitive and exciting environment across every field.

Here are the final results of the Championship Matchups:

🏆 10U GOLD DIVISION:
🥇 Champions – Birdgang Baseball
🥈 Finalists – Moonshots

Birdgang put together an impressive run, winning three straight on Sunday and closing it out with a clutch 7–6 championship win after battling to a tie with Major League University on Saturday.

Moonshots, the #5 seed, got hot at the right time—scoring 33 runs in two games Sunday to earn a spot in the finals before falling just short in a tight title game.

🏆 11/12U GOLD DIVISION:
🥇 Champions – AZA 12U
🥈 Finalists – CG Vaqueros

After tying on Saturday, AZA and CG Vaqueros met again in the championship. Both teams earned their spot the hard way, with AZA knocking off the #1 seed Arizona Wildcatters and CG Vaqueros defeating #2 seed Major League University before battling for the title.

🏆 11/12U SILVER DIVISION:
🥇 Champions – Maricopa Crush
🥈 Finalists – Arizona Dust Devils 12U

Maricopa Crush avenged a Saturday loss to the Dust Devils in a high-scoring, back-and-forth championship, ultimately pulling out a 16–14 win in one of the most exciting games of the weekend.

🏆 13U GOLD DIVISION:
🥇 Champions – Arizona Wildcatters Gonzalez
🥈 Finalists – Valley Aztec Baseball Black

The Wildcatters dominated throughout the weekend, outscoring opponents 41–12 heading into the finals and finishing undefeated with a 9–6 championship win. Valley Aztecs made a strong push back to the title game but came up just short in their rematch.

🏆 13U SILVER DIVISION:
🥇 Champions – Rage Baseball AZ
🥈 Finalists – Scrappers 13U

Rage Baseball edged out Scrappers 9–8 in a tight championship. Scrappers showed resilience, bouncing back from a one-run loss Saturday and winning Sunday morning to earn their spot in the final.

🏆 14U GOLD DIVISION:
🥇 Champions – West Valley Knights
🥈 Finalists – Arizona Defenders

Two undefeated teams met in the finals, and it lived up to expectations. The Knights secured a hard-fought 5–4 victory in a game that came down to the final moments, with tight competition throughout the bracket.

🏆 14U SILVER DIVISION:
🥇 Champions – San Tan Scrappers
🥈 Finalists – CBA Futures

After going 0–2 on Saturday, the Scrappers turned things around in a big way—winning Sunday games decisively and continuing their offensive surge to capture the championship. CBA Futures advanced to the championship game with a tight 10-9 victory over Exposure Expos AZ.

This event delivered everything you look for—great weather, strong competition, and an incredible turnout that created a fun, competitive atmosphere all weekend long.
