NCS offers a very unique program to all participants in our events. The coaches of every game played in our tournaments get to select a Player of the Game from their team. It doesn't matter whether your team wins or goes down in defeat, and it doesn't always have to be the player that was the most productive at the plate, or who pitched a no-hitter that game. It can be the player who motivated the team the best, or the player that got their first hit of the tournament, or the teammate that was the best at showing a positive attitude. It's entirely up to the coaches of each team how they determine the criteria for selecting their Player of the Game.
Near the end of the calendar year, all of the 'Player of the Game' award recipients will have an opportunity to participate in the Player of the Game Invitational. This will be an event that brings together all of the 'Player of the Game' recipients throughout the year to be drafted to play in a 'Player of the Game' tournament.
During this tournament, players will be evaluated by coaches and the NCS Staff for an opportunity to be selected to represent Arizona in the GameDay USA tournament in December. If selected to represent your state, you will be provided with 2 additional jerseys and a baseball cap. You will be coached by College Coaches or former Pro Players. You will be representing your state in the GameDay Tournament where over 26 states have competed for bragging rights in the past. Any player selected to participate in this tournament will play for FREE!

2024 NCS CAFARELLI PLAYER OF THE GAME
What a great example of what NCS Cafarelli is all about! Great competition, as well as building friendships and creating amazing memories. From Donelle Dea Baltazar: "Andrew loved playing in the NCS Cafarelli Player of the Game Invitational (11/23-11/24/24). This weekend was the first tournament of the 2025 season, and he ended up playing against some of the players he was teamed up with at POG. Win or lose they were happy to see each other again!"
